About Us

My name is Michelle Hillier & my inspiration to provide this local service grew from my love of animals , great & small & with a vision of how a professional Dog Walking & Pet Care Service should be. I had difficulty finding a local professional Pet care service back in 2010 who could walk my Dogs whilst we worked & visit our other Pets when we were away . At the time, we had four Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, who take pride of place on the back of our van, whom are the centre of World, and finding the right care for them was imperaitive.

As there wasn't a local service who offered what I needed back then, Paws To Doors was born and has been developing special friendships ever since with people and pets within the local area, and our Dogs have enjoyed being part of the ride, often helping new Dogs settle in. Working with Dogs was a natural progression for me after having them all my life, this is not me just making a living, this is me following my lifes's purpose, and I relish my role.

We are family run business & have been caring for pets in the Tynedale area since February 2011 with many happy, regular customers . (See our Testimonial page ) Our aim is to provide home from pet care when you at times aren’t able to, be it due to work commitments, holidays, illness or just lack of time. We work roughly within a 5 mile radius of Hexham.

We are active members of The Pet Wellfare Alliance and believe the best route for a happy healthy dog is via proper nutrition, natural health care, exercise & stimulation.
